This is Rennie, she s in a book i found call ''The lie that had to be" This is how i see her (in my mind) in a part of the book. Her father called her porcupine when she was angry because it was like she put up a spikey shield to protect her from the world around( the war, harsh words,etc.)
It has been a while since I read the book.
